A blend of rums aged 6-10 year, this release from Ron Del Barrilito also features finishing in sherry seasoned American Oak casks. It's bottled at 43% ABV. Let's dive in.
Overall, I didn't know what to expect from this release but it delivered quite handily, a pleasant pour that's complex, easy to enjoy and quite versatile - neat, rocks, cocktail. Lovely.

House Review
Nose:
Sweet on the nose, full of maple, brown sugar, light mango, cherry and orange peel. Unique blend of pleasant sweetness, syrupy fruit and a touch of oak.
Taste:
Moderate mouthfeel, quite pleasant. Sweet maple, brown sugar, light oak, some pepper and ginger, a combination of orange peel and currants.
Finish:
The finish is pleasant, full of fruit and maple once more. There's a touch more oak on the finish than on the palate and this drinks great as a result.
