Reservoir Bourbon Whiskey is distilled at Reservoir Distillery in Richmond, Virginia. It uses a mash bill of 100% locally sourced corn and is aged in small barrels to speed the maturation process. The whiskey is bottled at exactly 100 proof and represents one of the distillery's core expressions.
On the palate, it drinks with surprisingly more maturity. The texture is honeyed. Youthful notes of caramel corn, malt balls, and wood shop don’t linger for long, giving way to rich baking spice, toasted nuts, candied cherry, and orange zest. There’s considerable complexity here for a bourbon this young.
