Renegade Rum Cuvée Dunfermline Harvest '20 is produced on the Dunfermline farm in Grenada, located inland from the island’s wild east coast. The farm, known for its volcanic and alluvial soils, is also home to a historic, now-ruined distillery. This rum is made using both pot and column stills and is intended for the U.S. market.
The funky and fruity fresh cane is bright and flavorful with some dusty but tasty oak influence; a contemplative sipper to pair with a medium bodied spicy cigar.
Bananas and brown sugar meld with a touch of youthful petrol, green papaya, and a toasted oak element that arrives on the finish. Bracing at 50% abv, with touches of warming pepper to conclude.
