  • It’s fun stuff, but not nearly as fun as the ephemera for the whiskey.

  • Nose:

Lovely, confectionery nose with plenty going on. Lots of cherry and apple fritter with powdered donuts, nougat, butter cream, vanilla cake, cinnamon and nutmeg

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel. Big caramel apple note on the palate, joined by cinnamon, clove, pepper, oak and a touch of cranberry

  • Finish:

Long, lovely finish. Oak opens and is followed by pepper, tannin and more apple character

  • Overall:

Really lovely bourbon. Loads of apple character and perfectly oaky.

  • Score:

    88
