Red Star Rum is produced at Alto Vista Winery in Aruba, the island's first and only estate distillery. It is made using fresh sugarcane juice in the rhum agricole style and single-distilled in a wood-fired copper pot still. The rum is aged in Tennessee oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV, selling for $32 per 500ml bottle.
