  • A thick and woody dram, you can definitely tell this is a double oak without much difficulty.

  • Probably my favorite of recent Rabbit Hole releases that aren’t Founders Collection releases.

  • Nose:

Baking spice and graham cracker up front, plenty of cocoa, a spritz of ethanol, praline and a touch of cinnamon.

  • Taste:

Moderate mouthfeel, I’m enjoying this cocoa and graham cracker note that’s playing through. Pleasant level of oak. The proofiness of the nose fades, replaced instead by brown sugar, a touch of oatmeal and sweet oak.

  • Finish:

Long, maple-driven finish full of praline, cinnamon, baking spice, sweet oak and waffle cone.

  • Overall:

Probably my favorite of recent Rabbit Hole releases that aren’t Founders Collection releases.

  • Score:

    88
