  • If this didnt drink so hot for the proof, and was without the astringent plastic forward palate and finish, I think Id like this a lot more. I need to come back to it since this bottle was just opened. I hope it mellows with some air.

  • Nose:

    Sweet agave, some honey, pepper, burnt plastic.

  • Taste:

    Harsh and a bit hot. Some pepper, nice earthiness, faint sweetness and more astringent plastic. Weird.

  • Finish:

    Long but hot and ashy with a good deal of astringency.

  • Overall:

    If this didnt drink so hot for the proof, and was without the astringent plastic forward palate and finish, I think Id like this a lot more. I need to come back to it since this bottle was just opened. I hope it mellows with some air.
