  • I'll admit, this is better than expected, but far from great. For a flavored whiskey, this performs about as well as I've seen. If sweet and packed with artificial and natural fruit tastes is your jam, this should do the trick just fine.

  • Nose:

The nose is fresh and full of fruit, oddly natural and surprisingly enticing. Granny smith apple and a pop of acidity. Some faint artificial apple blends in with time.

  • Taste:

On the palate, it's syrupy and sweet, paired nicely with some pop of apple acidity, but ultimately it's a syrupy and sweet pour. I appreciate that it isn't overwhelmingly fake like Crown Apple, and the more-natural viscosity helps here tons. It reminds me of those caramel apple lollipops or apple jolly ranchers. If that's up your alley, this is 110% that profile.

  • Finish:

Short, sweet and syrupy with a touch of ethanol and spirit-y grain.

  • Overall:

I'll admit, this is better than expected, but far from great. For a flavored whiskey, this performs about as well as I've seen. If sweet and packed with artificial and natural fruit tastes is your jam, this should do the trick just fine.
