Primo 1861 Blanco is produced at Destileria El Pandillo in Jesús María, Los Altos, by master distiller Felipe Camarena. It is made from agave and spring water.
Produced using small-batch, traditional methods, and made with nothing other than yeast, water, and agave, Primo 1861 blanco is one of the most expressive tequilas we tasted for this roundup, which more than justifies its elevated pricepoint (in our opinion).
