  • The smoke is well-balanced and savory, and the light fruit notes add some interest, but I find it verges on too hot and peppery, and adding water just muddles things up. I’d definitely sip it, but I’d hesitate to buy a bottle for myself.

  • Water (just a splash will do) is encouraged here just to amp up these nice notes, but the whisky is easy to drink as is.
