Pōkeno Origin is a New Zealand single malt whisky produced from locally grown barley. It is fermented and distilled slowly, then matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, it comes in a 700ml format.
You can come for the texture and the surprisingly light flavor profile that almost resembles a sake, but you will probably leave wishing there was just a bit more excitement to the flavor profile overall.
