  • Planteray Cut & Dry Coconut rum delivers on the cocnut flavor without tasting artificial or verging into sunscreen territory like some other well-known coconut rums on the market. It’s an unexpected delight—smooth, balanced, and full of character—and would make a standout base for a tropical rum riff on a White Russian."

  • Nose:

Toasted coconut comes on strong right out of the gate, followed by rich notes of chocolate, caramel and vanilla cookie. The aroma is deeply nostalgic — evoking the scent of a Samoa Girl Scout Cookie

  • Taste:

Toasted coconut remains the star, joined by layers of vanilla and rich caramel. A hint of bitter dark chocolate and a subtle nuttiness provide balance, keeping the sweetness in check and preventing it from veering into syrupy territory.

  • Finish:

The rum finishes of an almondy note that is accompanied by a lingering slight bitterness of dark chocolate.

  • Overall:

Planteray Cut & Dry Coconut Rum delivers bold coconut flavor without veering into artificial or sunscreen-like territory, setting it apart from many mainstream coconut rums. It’s an unexpected delight — smooth, balanced and full of character — and would make a killer base for a tropical twist on a White Russian.
