Pintail Caol Ila 11 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky distilled at Caol Ila in 2012 and bottled in 2023 by The Whisky Cellar under its Pintail label. The whisky was matured first in a refill sherry butt, then finished in a cask that previously held Pineau des Charentes, a fortified wine from the Cognac region of France. It is bottled at cask strength (57.9% ABV), without chill filtration or added color, from a limited run of 659 bottles, and retails for around $160-170.
