Pinhook Rye Humor Cask Strength Straight Rye Whiskey is a limited‑edition rye from Kentucky produced by Castle & Key Distillery. The release is limited to 65 barrels. Its mash bill is 95 % rye and 5 % malted barley and average barrel age at bottling was around four years. The whiskey is bottled at 57.0% ABV (115–114 proof depending on listing) in a 750 mL format.

  • It remains consistent on the palate, with mint, bay leaf, eucalyptus, Szechuan peppercorn, licorice, dark berries, and dry oak; with water, lemon oil and hints of tropical fruit emerge. The finish is oak-driven and peppery, with the sweet medicinal quality of cherry cough syrup.
