10 Years
Released in September 2025, this is the seventh of nine planned bourbon releases under Pinhook's Vertical Series. Each year, Pinhook releases a new Vertical bourbon and rye, and each year the bottling grows a year in age, allowing consumers to examine the effects of age. This year's release is 10 years old, blended from 75 barrels and is distilled from a mashbill of 75% corn, 20.5% rye and 4.5% malted barley.

Very nice, pastry-laden nose with powdered donuts, cinnamon, butterscotch, toasted oak, peanut brittle and gingerbread.
Pleasant, fairly rich palate with almonds, hazelnut, coffee, black cherry and lots of dried fruit character (raisins and figs mostly) plus some cinnamon and clove, and a bit of tobacco.
The finish leans sweet with cookie dough, coconut, cinnamon, saltwater taffy and a dash of light minerality.
A very nice bourbon as this fun and interesting series reaches double-digit years of aging. This one leans a touch tannic for me, but it's still terrific bourbon.
