Pasote Tequila Añejo is produced at Tequila El Tepozan from 100% single-estate blue weber agave grown in Los Altos Southern Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is cooked in brick ovens, extracted with roller and screw mills and fermented without fibers in stainless steel tanks. The tequila is then double distilled in stainless steel pot stills, aged in whisky barrels, aerated and bottled at 40% ABV.
The flavors are a fun sip that is calm and easy. With time the flavors and aromas open to show a bit more spice and warmth. This is a charming and authentic añejo that is easy to enjoy.
