Released in August 2025, this is 2025's release of Heaven Hill's coveted annual Parker's Heritage release, a whiskey that pays tribute to Parker Beam, Heaven Hill’s late Master Distiller Emeritus. Beam was diagnosed with ALS in 2010, and since 2013, the series has been used to raise money for ALS research and patient care. It has raised more than $1.4 million so far.

This year's bottling is a blend of three mashbills: 15-year-old Kentucky straight wheated bourbon aged in Rickhouse A; 11-year-old Kentucky straight corn whiskey aged in rickhouses DD, GG and BB; and 12-year-old whiskey made from rye and malt aged in Rickhouse Y. Bottled at 122.5 proof, it has a suggested retail price of $179.99.

  • This latest Parker’s Heritage is a big swing, and one that requires a deft touch to avoid any one component unbalancing the final blend.

  • Nose:

Soft and sweet on the nose, with plenty of dessert-forward goodness coupled with baking spice. Confectioner's sugar, pastry dough, candy corn, salted caramel, gingerbread, luxxardo cherry, strawberry juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, macadamia.

  • Taste:

Rich mouthfeel. Tannins wick the moisture from the sides of your mouth as the palate delivers big bright cherry, to go with deep plum, grape jam, Vanilla pudding, oak char, black tea, almond, cherry cola, blueberry pie and white chocolate. Rye spice plays a big role with cinnamon and clove.

  • Finish:

The finish is long, layered and dry, with leather, stewed plums, cherry pie, red apple peel, tapioca, malted milk balls, plus a good bit of rye spice: pepper, cinnamon and clove. Salted caramel adds some saline sweetness right at the end.

  • Overall:

A rich, sophisticated, opulent blend from Heaven Hill. It’s bright, fluffy and bruising. Rich sweetness abounds, but plenty of cinnamon and malted character even things out. Very well balanced.

  • Score:
