Rich on the nose, brûlée and caramelized sugar, ginger, toffee and a hint of sourdough bread.
Moderate palate, brown sugar blends with cinnamon, candied ginger, cracked pepper and a hint of nutmeg. Very baking spice forward with a touch of sweet oak, minerality, and rye bread on the back palate.
Long finish, sweet and baking spice heavy.
Pleasant and easy to enjoy, this falls on the spicier side of reposados with plenty of barrel showing through here. If you like a baking spice stack in a repo, this pour’s for you.
