Smells exactly as advertised. Big waft of pear and cinnamon followed by a hint of lemon.
Tastes like a hot toddy that's been reimagined for sipping on ice. Loads of pear, caramel, clove and brown sugar. The lemon component is quite subdued, surprisingly so for a self-described sour cocktail. But that laid back citrus character gives plenty of room for baking spice to shine.
A bit of that spicy rye character creeps up on the finish alongside piquant hits of rosemary and cinnamon.
One of the best I've ever had from On The Rocks. I love that the brand is thinking outside the box with these limited-edition cocktails, eager to see what flavors this series has in store down the road.
