On The Rocks Aviation Cocktail is made with Larios Gin, cherry, lemon and violet. It rests at 40 proof and costs around $9.99 for a 375ml bottle. Larios Gin, produced at Destilerías DYC in Málaga, Spain, is distilled four times and features wild juniper berries.
Overall, I’m a bit disappointed. It does not taste a lot like an Aviation made at the bar or at home. Nor does it work as a floral cocktail in its own right.
