Old Pulteney 15 Years is a single malt Scotch whisky from Old Pulteney Distillery located in the Highlands of Scotland. Aged for 15 years, it is made from 100% malted barley and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. This whisky is non-chill filtered and hosts a suggested retail price is $80.
The finish flips the sweet and woody-earthy-spicy aspects of the whisky end over end, becoming far less sweet on the way down than the whisky was while sitting on your palate. It’s a nice capstone for the overall experience and really adds to it.
