Old Potrero Single Malt Straight Rye Whiskey is distilled from a 100% malted rye mashbill and aged for three and a half years. Produced by Anchor Distilling Company in San Francisco, it is bottled at 48.5% ABV and priced around $70.
The finish is balanced oak, charred almonds, more coffee beans, tropical melon, and orange. Pleasurably crunchy, with intriguing overlays of bitter chocolate, espresso, and nuttiness.
