  • A sleeper, surprise, under the radar single cask if ever I have tasted one. Potrero has covered serious ground since I tried their stuff many years ago and their handiwork is formidable!

  • Nose:

Big and bold, packed full of honey, spice, warm oatmeal cookie, toffee and espresso, cola and cocoa. This is a big whiskey - a quiet giant that's super rich.

  • Taste:

Rich and viscous on the palate, loaded with salted caramel, espresso, cocoa, oatmeal cookie, big oak and this dense, rich, cherry cola note. Really dark and rich from tip to tail and super satisfying.

  • Finish:

Long finish, a behemoth once again leaning sweeter with some vanilla and brown butter joining the cola, cocoa, and heavy oak. Delightful.

  • Overall:

A sleeper, surprise, under the radar single cask if ever I have tasted one. Potrero has covered serious ground since I tried their stuff many years ago and their handiwork is formidable!
