Old Overholt Cask Strength 10 Year Rye, released in November 2023, is a straight rye whiskey distilled at the Jim Beam Distillery. It is made from an undisclosed mashbill and aged for ten years. The whiskey is bottled at 121 proof with no additional filtration. The suggested retail price is $100 for a 750ml bottle.
As for this limited release: I’m glad to see a release that follows the $10 a year rule, while also following the unspoken rule that it be cask strength!
