  • I didn’t know what to expect from this bourbon, but after having it I was surprised at the quality of the whole package. It’s priced a little on the high side, but you’re getting is a bourbon that anyone can enjoy.

  • Dry, spicy finish. A little rough around the edges, but otherwise an enjoyable whiskey.

  • The finish is light and lingering with soft clove, cinnamon, and orange notes. In short, a simple, clean Bourbon with no pretenses.

  • While I did enjoy this pour, I found myself wanting more with each sip and I couldn’t help but compare this to other releases from the Whiskey Row series that has much more to offer and at the same or similar price point.

  • Not really remarkable. Thinner than I would like, and hotter than I would like, without bringing much flavor to the table.

  • Nose:

Brown sugar, maple, banana bread. Lightly musty, some definite youth.

  • Taste:

Thin, musty, hot. Theres a lot of heat here, for not a lot of flavor. Some maple, more banana bubble gum notes, faint clove.

  • Finish:

Medium length, heat is better here but a bit too hot still. Oak, pepper, faint clove, some vanilla.

  • Overall:

Not really remarkable. Thinner than I would like, and hotter than I would like, without bringing much flavor to the table.
