Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Spring 2026 is a Kentucky straight bourbon produced by Heaven Hill Distillery as the 17th release in the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Decanter Series. Distilled in spring 2016 from the brand's signature wheated mash bill and aged 10 years, it is bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV) in the series' signature green-label decanter. Released on an allocated basis beginning in July 2026, it carries a suggested retail price of $149.99.

House Review
  • Nose:

    The nose is complex and well balanced. Plenty of baking spice is present, but it’s also quite sweet — confectionary with complementary stone fruit notes. There’s a big peach note that’s surrounded by cinnamon, gingerbread and cookie dough.

  • Taste:

    Moderate viscosity. A bit of bitter tannin is joined by peach tea, peanut brittle, nutmeg and vanilla cake with white frosting.

  • Finish:

    Big peanut and almond brittle note opens the finish, followed by coffee, Toffee, dark chocolate, caramel and a touch of leather and dried cherries.

  • Overall:

    A baking spice-forward bourbon that has a nice contrast between spice and big fruit notes (mostly peach, on my palate). All in all, this is not my favorite Old Fitz release. It drinks a little bit thin in terms of flavor and a there’s more rough heat than I’d expect for the proof. It’s still an above average bourbon, but I’ve tasted better from the powerhouse that is Heaven Hill.
