Obtainium is a line of spirits produced by Cat’s Eye Distillery in Iowa that sources barrels from distilleries in the United States, Europe, Canada and the Caribbean to create single barrel or blended releases. These spirits are bottled at barrel strength or proofed down to meet state requirements. Obtainium Blended Whiskey is a single barrel release that originated from an accidental blend by MGP of 36% rye bourbon and 95% rye distillate.
