House Review
Nose:
Buttercream, light ash smoke, honey, biscuits, pear brandy and notes of tea and sourdough.
Taste:
Thin to moderate on the palate. Creamy sweetness, vanilla bean, peaches and cream, rising bread and a touch of pepper.
Finish:
Spicy and rich finish. Plum, pear, apple pie, vanilla bean, toffee and coffee cake with a touch of minerality and smoke. Complex finish, interesting and fun.
Overall:
Lovely complexity. I'd probably take this over most other OB 18yr releases.
Score:
85
