Released in September 2025, this is a four-grain bourbon produced by the North Carolina-based Oaklore from a mashbill of 70% corn, 10% rye, 10% wheat and 10% malted barley, aged in #2, #3 and #4 char barrels and finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry barrels for between 12 and 18 months. Aged six years and bottled at 95 proof, this bourbon has a suggested retail price of $99.95. Only 750 bottles were released.

    On the nose, this expression is jammy, warm and inviting, with notes of raspberries, red grapes, cherry danish, caramel and cookie butter.

  • Taste:

    Sweet-fruity profile is balanced by pleasant oak presence. Cherry pie, cinnamon, vanilla, red grapes, tannin.

  • Finish:

    Cinnamon, tobacco, cocoa, red apple peel, tannin, coffee grounds, clove.

  • Overall:

    A really lovely finished bourbon from Oaklore, an under-the-radar distillery that continues to impress me.
