Oak & Eden Wheat & Spire is a wheated bourbon made from 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley. It is aged in charred American white oak barrels before being finished with a seasoned and toasted French oak spire.
If you are someone who enjoys wheated whiskey I would recommend giving this one a try. Plus, it is pretty cool to have a bottle with an oak spire in it sitting on your shelf!
While not significantly high in proof, there’s a bite of spice on the palate, which is mellowed out by cherry sundae syrup, chocolate milk, and cinnamon sugar. Jammy fruit and a drizzle of caramel develop on the finish, which has a lovely chardonnay-like roundness.
