O.H. Ingram Flagship Bourbon 2024 is an annual limited release priced at $64.99. This bourbon is distilled by Green River Distilling in Owensboro, Kentucky, using a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley. It is matured for 6.5 years in barrels with a #4 char in a floating barge rickhouse on the Mississippi River.

  • There is nothing mundane, boring, or typical about this bourbon. Where else can you find Green River’s take on MGP combined with aging in a similar manner to the early years of bourbon distilling? The storyline is interesting, but even without it, the bourbon is simply excellent.

  • Nose:

    Big caramel and honey, sweet cola and toffee, buttercream and sweet oak. The nose is quite a bit richer from 2023’s.

  • Taste:

    Pleasant and sweet, packed with honey, toffee, butter cream and lovely oak and pepper. Sweet and caramel driven.

  • Finish:

    Long finish, honey, blackberry, sweet honey, light pepper, sweet oak and balancing spice.

  • Overall:

    Ingram’s here, and it is in its stride! Nice work on this year’s Flagship, the best yet by far.
