  • Nose:

Sweet butterscotch meets clove, cinnamon, anise and red grape

  • Taste:

Moderate viscosity. Quite a pleasant palate that leans on dark spice. Cinnamon, pine, clove, black pepper and tobacco meet brown sugar and a bit of oak.

  • Finish:

The finish is satisfying and spice-forward, opening with frosted gingerbread, then transitions to tannin and cinnamon.

  • Overall:

A nice rye! Good flavor from tip to tail. It's not the most ground-breaking expression, but it's rock solid rye whiskey.
