Mountain Summit Orange Wine Cask Finished Bourbon is a straight bourbon produced by Spirits of the Wasatch in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. Made grain-to-glass, it uses a mash bill of 68% corn, 18% rye, 8% wheat and 6% barley. The bourbon is finished in casks that previously held Vino de Naranja, a traditional Spanish orange wine from Andalusia. According to the producer, the finishing imparts citrus notes and a subtle smoky, umami character layered over a base of caramel, vanilla and toasted oak.
