Banana, honey, sweet cream, maple, a touch of brown sugar, pepper and papaya. It’s light, fruit driven and sweet with some balancing spice on the nose.
Pleasant on the palate, full of honey, banana, papaya, a touch of melon and butter cream. Lightly bitter, there’s some pepper and ginger, a hint of ethanol bite despite the low proof.
Short finish, peppy and full of tropical fruit, caramel and a touch of vanilla.
Despite the low proof it’s an intriguing pour and a unique look at what Mount Gay has in store. It’s a lighter, less funky look at Mount Gay but it’s entirely enjoyable all the same.
