Montanya Exclusiva 3 Year Aged Rum undergoes a three-year barrel aging process, spending two and a half years in an American white oak barrel previously used for Laws Colorado whiskey, followed by six months in a French oak barrel previously used for aging cabernet sauvignon and port. It is produced by Montanya Distillers based in Crested Butte, Colorado.
