House Review
  • Nose:

    Pleasant, mild nose of honey, graham cracker and mesquite.

  • Taste:

    Moderate mouthfeel. Nice and pleasant bourbon — a little youthful but tasty, with notes of vanilla, walnuts and white pepper.

  • Finish:

    The finish is pleasant and medium in length. Oak and more walnuts guide the finish, plus a bit of graham cracker and tea.

  • Overall:

    A rock-solid bourbon. It's not incredible (what 80-proof bourbon is?), but it has good flavor and viscosity for the proof and price. It offers a nice dose of Milam & Greene's signature Texas bourbon in a low-priced, approachable package.
