Aged for over four years in char-4 barrels, Milam & Greene Bottled in Bond is crafted from a mashbill of 70% corn, 22% malted rye and 8% malted barley. It's distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky, and bottled in Blanco, Texas.
The taste is thick, chewy, and spicy with notes of cherry, black pepper, a hint of cinnamon, and honey in the background. The finish is long with gently fading spices. Excellent!
If you’re looking for a unique spin on a bottled-in-bond bourbon, given the malted rye presence, you’ve found it in Milam & Greene Bottled in Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This is dialed tight, hitting the proper tasting considerations at the right moments. Well done.
