Mezcalum Artesanal Blanco is a mezcal produced in Santiago de Matatlán, Oaxaca, Mexico, by Maestro Mezcalero Carlos Mendez Blas. It is made from 95% espadin agave and 5% wild cuishe agave. The agave is cooked for 5 days in traditional underground ovens, crushed by tahona, naturally fermented and double distilled in copper pots. The mezcal is bottled at 44% ABV and retails for around $43-48.

  • Nutty, meaty, vegetal, savory, roasted aromas and flavors of green chilies and limes, banana leaves, nutty, mustard seeds, and lavender with an oily, sweet medium body and a seamless, interesting, medium-long finish with notes of magic marker, grapefruit pith, salted lime, sea salt, black berry, meaty, pineapple, green banana, and cashews.
