This is another release of Vago Ensamble en Barro, this time using 57% Espadin and 43% Mexicano magueys. We've been a big fan of past ensambles from Tio, so we're very much looking forward to this one as well. This is the October 2018 batch, for the curious. Let's dive in.

Melon, cream cheese, light salt. Some pepper. Mostly sweet and fruity.
Medium mouth feel. No heat. Honey, apples, pears, cream cheese. Light vegetation, very little. Some pepper. Delightfully creamy.
Pepper, light ash, honey, bell pepper and cream cheese. Love it.
Phenomenal stuff. Sweet and fruity on the nose, ashy and peppery, and vegetable-y on the finish. Great transition. Surprising smokiness.
