Made by mezcalero Juan Manuel of Maguey Spirits Co. in Durango, Mexico, Mezcal Gin (MG) is crafted from cenizo agave, which matures for 9 to 13 years. Using a pechuga-like method, it is infused with Mexican botanicals such as ancho chile, hibiscus flower, avocado leaves and lemongrass. Other ingredients in the mix include juniper, cardamom, angelica root, coriander seed, longan, guinea pepper, orange peel and nutmeg.
