Mezcal Amarás Espadín is crafted using 8-year-old espadín agave from the mountains of Tlacolula, Oaxaca, Mexico. The production process includes conical stone ovens, Egyptian mills, oak cooking wood, pine wood fermentation vats and copper stills.
White pepper and lime peel open the light, bone-dry palate, chased by a modest amount of smoke and a peppery, piquant finish that echoes the mouthwatering citrus note.
