Metaxa 7 Stars, a "Greek specialty liqueur" often categorized as a brandy, is made from aged muscat wines, wine distillates and Mediterranean botanicals. It contains the highest percentage of muscat wine in the brand's Stars Range.
Palate entry is far fruitier than the bouquet, introducing flavors of prunes, figs and dates; midpalate goes the pastry route, especially prune Danish, blackberry preserves and date paste. The pastry shop dried fruit element continues on into the aftertaste.
