Menorval Calvados is a French apple brandy produced from apple varietals in the Orne Valley and Merlerault. It is distilled twice in cognac pot stills and aged in 400-liter oak casks for two to four years, with part of the blend sourced from Domfront in Orne. Bottled at 700 ml, it is priced at $37.99.

  • This Calvados features a ripe pear aroma. It's a bit tannic and drying, with a resin-like note up front that mellows into chamomile tea and sandalwood, plus baked pear and baking spice on the finish.
