  • This offering challenges my general idea of peated whisky flavors, which I suppose is what Walker and company are after. It is surprising in several ways, all of which are quite pleasant—well done.

  • A nice surprise. This has great bonfire notes and a cocoa sweetness that works really well. It exceeds my expectations, this is good value for money.

  • Not too sweet on the tongue; there are initial flavors of melon, pear, spiced apple, honey, chocolate brownie, and cinnamon, which are torn asunder by the dominant flavor of fresh ginger root, accompanied by vegetal notes and fresh oak, leaving a lingering finish of peat smoke and chocolate brownie.
