Medase is a nonalcoholic mocktail brand founded by Monica Cornitcher and Inga Dyer, who met as students at Howard University. The name derives from the Twi word meaning “thank you.” The organic line includes six flavors — Old Fashion, Jamaican Rum Punch, Moscow Mule, Margarita, Lemon Drop and Mojito — developed with food scientist and chemist Patrice Newsom. Per the brand, Medase Hello Sunshine Margarita features the flavors of tequila, triple sec, agave and lime juice.
