Marie Brizard No. 12 Banana is a 23% ABV liqueur made with Ecuadorian bananas and a blend of pineapple juice, cocoa, vanilla, tea, herbs and spices. Marie Brizard was founded in 1755 in Bordeaux, France, after creating the original Anisette liqueur. The company expanded globally by the 1800s and launched citrus liqueurs in 1766. It gained awards from 1893 onward and became a cultural icon by the 1960s.
