Maredsous Single Malt Whisky is produced at the Maredsous Distillery in the Belgian Ardennes at Maredsous Abbey. It is made from organic malts and aged for three years in American oak bourbon barrels, followed by one year finishing in Limousin oak casks that previously held Chardonnay white wine. The whisky is bottled at 47% ABV and sells for around $45.
