  • This is a drying whiskey with a short, earthy conclusion, and though it may feature a familiar recipe, it comes out the other end a completely different animal.

  • Nose:

Vanilla custard, oak, graham cracker, key lime pie, chocolate-covered orange, cherry pie, leather, a touch of ginger.

  • Taste:

Soft oak and big graham cracker on the palate, plus butterscotch, peanut brittle and Dreamsicle. Pleasant flavor profile — sweet and smooth, classic maker’s, with a little welcome oaky bite.

  • Finish:

Candied ginger and cinnamon lead into brown sugar, fresh-baked cookies and browned butter.

  • Overall:

Rock solid. Not complex but super tasty and sweet, with a perfect amount of complementary oak.
