Rich Turbinado syrup, notes of melon and caramelized pineapple were found on the palate which then leads to raisins and figs. The finish shows a bit of licorice but more on the sweet side like Good & Plenty candies.
There’s vanilla, butterscotch, and woody oak where you’d normally get just the heat and vegetal notes of silver tequila. Agave is there, but understated, well mellowed by the aging process.
