Madre Mezcal Espadin is an artisanal mezcal made in the hills of Oaxaca by Jose Garcia Morales and his family. The espadin agave is pit-roasted in earthen ovens, fermented with wild yeast and local well water, then distilled in traditional copper pot stills. It's bottled at 40% ABV and typically sells for around $39.
